Wonderful West Bengal, well
known for its rich culture and historical legacy as well as

theatre came into the country with Satyajit Ray’s ‘Pather
Panchali’ and the new wave in Indian cinema Began. In this
glorious land India’s freedom movement found some of the
great Sons like Sir Suren Banerjee, C. R. Das, Netaji
Subhash Chandra Bose, Maulana Azad, as it drew inspiration
from Rishi Aurobindo.
This land of irrepressible Bengalis, who are considered to
be the most appreciative Audiences, connoisseurs of art and
highly cultured people, ever ready to stand-up for a
justified cause and have a deep conviction that truth shall
always prevail.There love for travel, sports and food is
also legendary. West Bengal is also recognized for the
haunting Rabindra Sangeet and Durga Puja. It is also the
only State in the country, which sprawls from the snowy
summit of Himalayas in the north to temperate coastal plains
in the south. It is the gateway to the exotic east and is
studded with beautiful beaches, flat riverbeds and deltas,
picturesque hill stations, historical towns and modern
